Vintage...

So ...Over break I had a bunch of free time.......

I made a writing journal with some vintage paper and lace :)

It was so easy to make and I write in it ALL THE TIME!

I made it out of an old composition notebook....
Step 1 was to pick out the paper to cover it with and any other accents that I wanted. :)

Then.... I hot glued the paper to the front and back covers of the composition notebook and painted over it with glitter :)

My next step was to glue on some vintage lace....

I punched holes in the front and back cover so that I would have a way to tie it closed :)

It was fun, easy, and inexpensive!

It's definitely a project that anyone can do!!!

I can't wait to share more of the crafts that I made while on Christmas vacation!!!! :)))

Second Helpings, Anyone????

I am officially moved in for my 2nd semester of college. :))))

I am so ready to start my classes and hang out with my suitemates.

Even though I can't wait to start my 2nd semester, I'm glad that I had 5 weeks for Christmas break! :)

Going on Wal-Mart dates with Andrea, making crafts, staying up late, and watching movies with my sister are a few of the things that I did over break....

We have the best time at Wal-Mart!!! :)

I wrapped an old coffee can with vintage paper...My new pencil holder :)

My Christmas break would have been so boring without my sister, she always knows how to make me laugh. Rabecca is my VERY BEST FRIEND :))))

Thanks for reading! I will be posting soon about some of the things I made over Christmas break. That coffee can was just a preview... ;)

A Little Piece of My Heart

Finally!

My pictures can now be uploaded. :)

It's been a pain, but I'm happy to be blogging again!!

Recently, I had the misfortune of wrecking my most beloved car. :(

1996.

Black.

2 Door.

Dodge.

Neon.

 "The Death Machine"

I loved my little car soooo much.
I owned it for exactly 2 years. :)

I was lucky enough to save a few important items so that it will always be remembered. :)

The Neon Emblem :)

The Dodge Emblem :)

My MUSTACHES that were on the dash :)))

And...my plastic heart that hung on the mirror :)

Although my little car is gone, I am thankful that I wasn't hurt in the wreck :)

Thanks for reading! More blog posts soon to come!!! :)

What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?

This is my friend Stacie Willis. :)

She can make you laugh even when you're having a terrible day...not many people have that talent.

She is so much fun to be around and I'm so glad we're friends.

Fun Facts!!!!

She makes Oreo balls in her free time and loves to play her ukulele.

My experience at SBU wouldn't be the same without Stacie Willis.

Maybe my next blog post will be about YOU...who knows? ;)

Cupcakes?

So, sometime over the weekend I decided to make some cupcakes.

It was the first time that I had baked since I started college! How crazy is that?

I wanted to share some pictures with you....but they have been refusing to upload for about a week. :/

I really wish that I could show you a picture...I made coconut, marshmallow, peanut butter, peppermint, and cinnamon cupcakes :)

Oh well...maybe next time!
I'll keep trying to get my pictures posted but until I get it figured out, I'll probably not blog about much.

What's fun about reading a blog when there are no pictures to go with it???

Anywho... Keep checking in.

2. Turkey and Potatoes are my favorite things to eat.....
and pumpkin pie. ;)

3. I have an abundant amount of people in my life to be thankful for......

Mail Time!

One of my favorite things about not living at home is that you have a very good reason to write letters!

My mom bought me some very cute stationary and now I have an excuse to use it.

I LOVE getting mail.....

It feels so good to go check the 'mailbox' to see a letter waiting just for you!!

Although I love getting mail, I have just as much fun writing to others.

I also enjoy decorating the envelopes! ;)

I recently received a letter from one of my close friends.
In her letter she reminded me to keep blogging....you can thank her for the blog post you are reading right now.

If you want me to write you a letter, just leave a comment with your address or send me a facebook message.
I would love to write you a letter!
;)

should be blogging again in a couple of days.....
