Blood Drive.....

To begin this post, I thought I should share a joke. :)

Once there was a group of vampire bats that lived in a cave outside of a big city.

One night, one said to another, “"I’m so hungry. I’m going to go get something.”"

"“No don’t! We have to wait for the others!”"

"“I don’t care."” And off he went.

About 30 minutes later, he came back and was covered in blood.
The other vampire bat asked, “"WHOA!! Where did you find all that blood?"
“"You really want to see?"” Asked the bloody one. “"Follow me."
So the first bat leads the other bat to the city and points to a large black building and asks, "“Do you see that building?”"

“"Yes,"” came the reply.

Then the first bat said, “"Well, I didn’t."”

My roommate and I gave blood on Wednesday!

It was my 2nd time giving blood and her 3rd time giving blood. :)
Isn't that exciting?

I  was scared at first, but Erica was there with me through the entire process.

She even held my hand :)

It is an experience that you will never forget.
I think everyone, that can, should give blood at least once in their lifetime :)

Each time you give blood, you save 3 lives....and what makes someone fell better than knowing they changed a person's life?

I was so tired after giving blood, but it was definitely worth it & the cookies were good too ;)

We even got free T-shirts!

More posts to come! .....Sooner or later ;)

Maurices & Makayla :)

America's Next Top Model is....

NOT ME.

However, I did have a great time modeling clothes at Maurices with my suitemate Makayla :)

It was so much fun and I would love to do it again sometime :)

The clothes were amazing.....

...but the shoes were even better :)

This week has been a blast and I have so much more I want to blog about!

Working Girl ♥

Let me tell you about my first day of work... here at SBU! :)

It was full of collecting tickets, smiling at people, and making new friends.

After collecting tickets and smiling at people for a few hours in the morning, during the volleyball tournament.....
I worked concessions at the football game!

{Me and Stacie}

It was a blast & I even got a free T-shirt!!! :)

Working in the athletics department has been great so far, and much better than I would have ever imagined! I love all the people I work with and absolutely enjoy making new friends. I hope things continue to be this great!

College Fun :)

I had another wonderful weekend and I have been so busy that I haven't blogged in what feels like forever. :)

Well..... I have left you in the dark about what I did last week, this past weekend, and the beginning of this week.

Where to begin???

The beginning, of course :)

Makayla, Janelle, and I acted silly the entire week...that about sums up last Monday through Thursday :)

Once Friday hit, things got a little different.... Makayla, Janelle, and Erica all went home Friday night, (Erica was awesome and stayed in order to eat dinner with me) and I stayed on campus to await the much anticipated arrival of Andrea :)

&&&&
My suite mates left me cute notes before they left <3

After watching a movie and doing all my homework, I redecorated the space above my desk with cute pictures :) By the time I was done with that I got a text from Andrea that told me she was on her way!!!!!

Then Andrea got here! I was so excited..... & we had way too much fun!! :)

After the sleepover, we went into Springfield to go watch a movie and have dinner with some friends from church :)

Then that night from 10 pm through 1 am..... I went bowling with Calie and Paige :)

We had a blast! I even won $5 and 2 free games of bowling! What an eventful night!

Once Monday rolled around, I was really starting to miss my roommate and suite mates!

So, last night we went on a suite mate date to see a movie in Springfield :)

What gets better than dollar movie Tuesday?
Only one thing...the road trip!!!  <3

I am loving college more and more and I am so thankful that I get to be here at SBU....
making new friends, facing new challenges,
and having tons of fun!

Thanks for reading my blog!
